Send a once off gift or fundraise! We hugely appreciate the end of year gifts from overseas supporters and friends of the Beth Uriel family. Money has also been raised through selling jam, organising golf days, staging a "walk" with friends or at schools, date auctions and through rallying the support of aquaintances. Give a monthly donation. Over the years, we've grown fond of the handful of very faithful supporters who have given a small monthly amount. Research has proven this the most sustainable form of giving as it allows an organisation to plan for the future, instead of relying on rare, large amounts. How your money helps:

Caring for one special person... Sponsoring school or college fees for one year is an amazing way to support one young man's future career and life dreams. School fees came to R90 000 in 2007 (nearly 20% of our annual budget), so this is a major help.
Growing your donation... Donating seed capital to our youth brand Me'Kasi is an easy way to multiply your money and help the family learn about business. Your contribution enables the team to continue to purchase raw materials (when getting items donated in kind is not possible). We turn mere ink, beads, bags and boxes into a brand that is sold to bring much needed funds back to the family.

Helping us stay proud of the place where we stay. Building and vehicle maintenance.

The building is over 100 years old and is in constant need of repair (the winter season is particularly miserable as there are several leaking holes)! The family also owns two vehicles (a bakkie and a combi) which are in daily use and are forever requiring maintenance. Money given towards project mainenance ensures that we can provide each young man with the best possible physical care.
