PICK 'N PAY

Each week, "pick-ups" of vegetables and groceries from Pick 'n Pay keep the Beth Uriel household well-stocked. This food also allows us to support a weekly soup kitchens and the support of several local families. These groceries have been generously donated since 2002 and for this we are truly grateful.

WOOLWORTHS

Woolworths also supports Beth Uriel with groceries and vegetables... and treats (!) on a regular basis. Many thanks for years of support.

ROBIN GOODE

In partnerships with the likes of Pick 'n Pay and Woolworths, Robin Goode collects food from local vendors and distributes to those in need. Loaves of bread, jars and jars of peanut butter and bunches of vegetables are all part of BU's provisions.

SCHOOL OF HOPE

Sponsored by the Thembalitsha Foundation, SOH is where many of our students get a quality secondary school education. Sharing many of the same values and principles of Beth Uriel a strong partnership has been an important part in providing our guys with holistic care.

THANDOKUHLU SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Much like School of Hope, a strong partnership with Thandokhulu (just down the road from Beth Uriel) has served our family members well. Consistent communication with the teachers and principal increases the chances of success for each family member.

DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND POVERTY ALLEVIATION - Western Cape

The social workers at the Cape Town branch of the Department have been of great assistance in providing Beth Uriel with consistent financial support as well as answering a myriad of questions over the past several years. Beth Uriel appreciates that much of the necessary funding required for the work we do comes from the Department on a monthly basis. Being a part of what is happening in government at both local and provincial levels is an important part of the BU program.

NGO's

Many thanks to other NGO's and schools that have served our family members well: the Homestead, Percy Bartley House, the Cape Town Drug Counseling Centre, Big Brother Big Sister South Africa and the University of Cape Town to name a few. Keep up the amazing work!

LOCAL CHURCHES

Friends First Church in Rondebosh continues to support us in countless ways. School fees, birthday gifts and volunteers are all part of how they have blessed us. Those family members that do not attend Friends First find their church family at Jubilee Community Church in Observatory.

INDIVIDUALS

Our local family... Alan Reed, the Meintjes Family, Denis Cassidy, Kevin Lodge and Llew Jones-your consistent generosity has been such a blessing to us! To those overseas... our family in Holland, America, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and England - it is amazing to see how God keeps us all connected. You'll never know how much you all mean to us.
